Ok, first the good. The pad size is large, so it will work very nicely to cover the floor of a tent, or to serve as a clean area to take your boots off and leave the rucksack if you\'re camping under a tarp. It also reflects heat well and offers a small amount of extra insulation, since the bottom side is some sort of thin blue colored foam.

Unfortunately, the compression straps are a joke. Mine both broke away from the pad at the very first attempt to tighten them down. They\'re connected to the pad on the very edge and it\'s only a single line of flimsy stiching that\'s keeping them on. Since there\'s very little surface are covered by the stitches, they simply riped away from the foam pad. The solution is of course to increase the stich area further down the straps, so that the tension bearing is distributed. I will have to do this myself, so if you decide to buy this pad, better do it right away.

Or you can just cut the straps from the pad completely, which would probably be the best solution, since you can then compress the pad much more.

an sich eine sehr gute matte allerdings reißt sie bei den riemen sehr leicht ein...

UPDATE!!
Diese Isomatte ist für FRühjahr bis Herbst ideal. Im Winter, bei tiefen Temperaturen, ist eine Kälteisolierung nicht mehr gegeben.

Ein gutes Produkt. Wärmeisolierung ausgezeichnet. Nur die Spannriemen reißen schnell aus.
